MET Energy Systems is authorized by the Professional Engineers of Ontario, The State of Michigan Department of Commerce and The State of Maryland to practice Professional Engineering and is a licensed Designated Consulting Engineer with all of the required insurance and professional liability.

Lighting Design is carried out by computer simulation to ensure that the client receives the best results and the most efficient design with a proper photometric layout. All calculations are carried out to IES standards and used in all designs so that proper light levels are achieved.

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Design
are also carried out by computer simulation to ensure that design loads for all rooms and spaces are met. Proper controls are designed to ensure maximum energy savings to meet the requirements of the owner. Buildings simulations can be performed to show the effect of upgrading mechanical and electrical systems carried out on the plant systems. Designs are carried out using the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineering (ASHRAE) Standards and Industrial Ventilation Manuals.

Our office utilizes Computers for all projects. We presently have four Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) workstations using AutoCAD 2004. Drawing sets can be produced in any size required to meet your needs. The Carrier Hourly Analysis Program (HAP), is used for Mechanical designs and the PreCALA and LITEPRO programs are used for lighting layouts. Corel WordPerfect, Microsoft Word and EXCEL are also used for word processing and Spreadsheets.
